IGEM is a chartered professional body, licensed by the Engineering Council, serving a wide range of professionals in the UK and the international gas industry.

As a professional organisation, IGEM aim to promote the attainment and maintenance if the highest standards of professional competence.  Supporting the gas industry since 1863, IGEM provides its members with access to high quality products, services and personal and professional development.

It is the vision of IGEM to become the pre-eminent Institution for gas professionals across the world.
