HWM has recently been working in partnership with the Regional Office for Agricultural Development of Haouz (ORMVAH) on a project in Marrakech to monitor water levels in farm-based wells.
The project is funded by the World Bank as part of their investment into renewing irrigation pipelines and developing greater control of water consumption within the region.
Well monitoring is undertaken by connecting a 140m depth sensor to our Multilog LX data logger and installing the sensor into the well. Multilog LX uses remote SMS technology to transmit the data daily to the client’s server and HWM Radwin software is used to support presentation and analysis of the collected data.
The monitoring of the wells plays an important role in the larger water consumption reduction project and HWM is looking forward to working with ORMVAH going forward.
