HWM is pleased to announce the launch of Sentinel 2, the advanced, NBIoT-enabled, two-way pressure controller.
An effective two-point controller, Sentinel 2 has been developed to provide savings in more-simple pressure management situations where full control is not necessary.
“Effective pressure management and Pressure Reducing Valve control can incorporate a number of different techniques, from simple fixed pressure outlet to sophisticated closed loop modulated control. HWM’s Sentinel 2 bridges the gap between these techniques by providing a system where, depending on time or demand, the pressure output from the PRV can be automatically switched between high and low pressure setpoints.
“For pressure zones that require a less demanding level of control the Sentinel 2 provides this along with two-way NBIoT communications, remote control, automatic fire demand detection and alarm and PRV performance monitoring.”
Dave Crotty, Export Sales Manager, HWM
To deliver the dependable two-way communications required for data reporting and setting changes, Sentinel 2 contains our innovative modem that is capable of connecting by NBIoT and LTE-M. The modem includes a 2G fallback which automatically engages should an NBIoT signal not be available, ensuring consistently reliable connectivity.
Sentinel 2 is flexible and can be used for a variety of applications including both time-based and flow-based PRV control, as well as data logging with alarms and telemetry. The advances logging capabilities of Sentinel 2 includes Pseudo and fast logging capability.
Sentinel 2 is a reliable pressure controller, delivering consistency and long-term network monitoring. For more information about Sentinel 2, and to download the datasheet, please click here.
