Training

At HWM we pride ourselves in supplying the highest quality water monitoring, measurement and management solutions.  But however advanced our technology, the skill of the operator is vital.  Each user should know the features and capabilities of the equipment being used and be able to apply this knowledge to practical situations.  Our training courses are specifically designed to develop these skills.

We have trained well over 2,000 leakage/data logging/PRV technicians throughout the world.  Our client list includes all water companies in the UK (and many worldwide), leakage survey contractors, pressure management technicians, industrial companies, civil engineering contractors and many others.

Our Head Office in South Wales has a well equipped training and conference room and a state of the art outdoor leak test site on which clients can translate theory into practice.  Different pipe materials, diameters and other parameters enable us to train delegates thoroughly and to simulate realistic conditions.  It also contains a fully operational PRV, Meter and Insertion Meter for more specialist training.

Booking a training course with HWM is easy.  Simply contact us at the address below or via your regional account manager.  Our prices include tuition fees, course documentation and all meals (where applicable), we can also organise overnight stays if required.  Each delegate that satisfactorily completes a course receives a personal certificate of achievement.

Removed from the distractions of the workplace, delegates have a unique opportunity to focus on improving their skills in a relaxed, friendly and highly supportive environment.

Basic and advanced courses are available for all HWM products and product categories, and we are also happy to tailor courses to customer-specific requirements.  The list below shows some of the courses that we currently provide, others are available on request.
