To ensure our customers are achieving the best possible results with our products we can offer thorough training courses to operators. Depending on the product, courses vary in length, with the more advanced training courses taking place over a couple of days, often utilising the advanced leak site at our head office in South Wales.
Whilst we have remained open during the Covid-19 pandemic, our Head Office has only been open to staff members deemed ‘essential’ to ensuring the uninterrupted production of our products, meaning on-site training is not available.
Covid-19 has posed our business many challenges, but our tight-knit team has proven time and again to be adaptable, including through the online delivery of virtual training courses.
Online training courses have proven particularly helpful to a customer of Pipetek, our Norwegian distributor, who were looking to get the best results when pinpointing leak locations with our MicroCorr Touch Pro correlators.
With accuracy being particularly key in Norway due to pipe depth, it is imperative that the operators are able to determine leak locations with confidence. The customer wanted to ensure greater accuracy and to avoid the costs and disruption associated with wasted excavations.
To support the customer, our committed team was able to deliver a tailored version of the usually two-day training course virtually, ensuring that all of the key points were covered satisfactorily and that operators were confident in being able to utilise all of the MicroCorr Touch Pro’s advanced features.
The virtual training courses were very successful and the customer was very happy with the results. Since the training, they have advised that their team is demonstrating significant improvements in their correlation activities, specifically in terms of efficiency, confidence and accuracy.
